- Someone says that an old man sexually abused a little girl.
- A man looks up his daughter's skirt while she sleeps to check for rashes. This is not done in a sexual manner.
- Couple having sex in car are shown although there is no nudity
- The film contains a brief scene where a woman is seen topless in a dark setting in a non-sexual context, and a non-explicit sexual scene between a couple in the car.
- There is also a brief shot of still illustrations of couples in sexual positions as a policeman ransacks a room and flips the pages of what appears to be a book on Kamasutra.

- A man can be seen from a distance crawling on hands and knees, eating raw flesh or intestines.
- A man has a violent seizure and vomits blood.
- A man gets attacked by a dog, he kills the animal with a pickaxe (offscreen). The dog can be heard wheeping as it slowly dies. May upset animal lovers.
- A woman finds the dissembowled corpse of a goat hanging in front of their home, the goats intestines can be seen hanging out.
- A little girl stabs a family member offscreen with a pair of scissors.
- At the beginning of the film a man (with a horrible rash on his body) can be seen sitting in front of his home, it is implied that he murdered his family.
- A undead man attacks a man and rips a piece of skin from his face.
- A undead man has a garden tool slammed into his head.
- A man has an incredibly violent nosebleed which keeps gushing, he starts to vomit and doesn't seem to be able to stop vomiting. The vomit comes out "exorcist" style. It is a rather disturbing, shocking, and gross scene.
- A man gets run over by a truck, a couple of people pick his body up and throw him off a hill.
- A few chickens are killed during an exorcism ritual, it's also implied that a goat gets it's throat slit.

- A man threatens another man with a small scythe.
- Definitely not for faint hearted: the film sustains a relentless atmosphere of dread and menace.
- The supposed supernatural entity in the film is referred to as the "Jap". The entity itself looked like a partially naked man with blood red eyes. Very scary and disturbing.
- Just like a lot of these Korean movies, the ending is very bleak and dark.
- There are some disturbing and/or gory scenes present in the film, albeit without strong detail. There are also some prolonged frightening scenes depicted.
- There are two intense, prolonged scenes that depict exorcism rituals in the film.

Violence & Gore
- A little girl kills her own family (offscreen), the bloody aftermath can be seen.
- A man who is thrown off a cliff is shown to have survive. A Japanese priest enters a cave in the forest to see the man still alive. The priest confronts the man, who then reveals his true form (Satan, the God of Darkness). The Japanese priest becomes overcome with fear and freezes while Satan snickers. It is implied that Satan killed and ate the man.
- A man is struck by lightning and has severe burns and scarring later in the hospital.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A child eats all of the food in her house, then she begins to croak like a frog. She looks at her family members who are terrified. It is implied that she plans to eat them.
- Near the end of the film. A demonic creature disguising himself as a man reveals itself. It is very frightening looking as is laughs a man and takes pictures of him with a Polaroid. The man is actually the devil and when he takes pictures of people, it is supposed to represent him taking their souls.
- A dog is beaten to death offscreen. Afterwards you see and hear it whine throughout multiple scenes.
- Almost out of nowhere, a man is struck by lightning and is electrocuted for about 5 seconds. Very startling.
- When the demon of hell reveals himself at the end, he has some eerie dialogue with a priest who came to kill him. He sticks his hand out and tells the priest to touch him to prove he has human meat.
