- TriviaAccording to John Leguizamo in his autobiography, Steven Seagal physically attacked him during filming, in an effort to scare the cast and crew. Leguizamo claimed that during rehearsals, Seagal had come in and told the cast that "I'm in command. What I say is law." Thinking it was a joke, Leguizamo started to laugh, but Seagal proved him wrong by slamming him against a brick wall with an aikido elbow, knocking all the air out of him and dropping him to the ground. In 2022, Leguizamo confirmed that he "did not have a good time with Steven Seagal. No one has." According to the Observer, Seagal threatened to attack Leguizamo if they ever crossed paths on the Red Carpet after learning Leguizamo had mocked Seagal on his comedy show, "Ghetto Klown." However, Leguizamo wasn't threatened and said of Seagal, "I don't think he's invited to a lot of red carpets."

manifests, since their modus operandi (and the extent to which they are used on commercial airplanes) is classified.
- Alternate versionsThe German theatrical, video and DVD version has the same cuts as the UK version. Apart from that, all Arabian language has been dubbed into German, whereby all references to Islam and Allah were replaced by more harmless lines.

Surprise!
I am usually very picky about films and rarely watch action movies that don't have a nostalgic value but somehow I tuned into this one and I couldn't take my eyes off it. We're dealing with a flight hi-jacking and the situation has been seen before, but the way this story is told surprised me in a positive way.
It's trying to be realistic, and succeeds! Credits to the screenwriters for writing a story that everyone thinks they've seen before and still keeping the intensity throughout the film. Good acting from Kurt Russel, Oliver Blatt and especially John Leguizamp. This is an action-movie well worth watching. My rating: 7/10
