A new live-action version of Winnie the Pooh is joining Disney’s growing list of animated properties that are getting a new lease on life. The studio has signed Alex Ross Perry — whose indie feature Listen Up Philip, which he wrote and directed, played the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, and whose latest film, Queen of Earth, debuted at the Berlin International Film Festival in February. He will pen the adaptation, which is in the early stages of development. In the new version, Christopher Robin, Winnie’s human pal, will return as an adult to revisit Pooh’s hangout in the Hundred Acre
